  • 35 km long Farewell Spit is the largest sand spit in the world and home to a huge variety of birdlife. With 1,500 kms of coastline the Marlborough Sounds is a boaties paradise, with lots of hidden inlets and sheltered bays, perfect for kayaking and cruising.
  • The 71 km Queen Charlotte Track in the Marlborough Sounds takes 3-5 days and offers stunning ridge line views.
  • Fresh seafood, in particular blue cod, snapper, salmon, tarakihi, scallops and green shell mussels.
  • Grab a Malborough Wine Trail map for a choice of over 40 cellar doors to visit.
